Mission: The mission of Women of Refined Distinction - WORD is to promote spiritual growth and maturity in women, reflecting our belief in the authority of God’s Word and preeminence of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. 

What We Believe: We believe that every woman, regardless of generation, deserves an opportunity for personal growth and is valued as a role model of Biblical truth to her family, her work, her school, her church, and her community.  Every woman is gifted and should develop her gift to inspire other women.

Life

• By providing opportunities for personal growth, believing that every woman is valued as a role model of Biblical truth to her family, her work, her church, and her community.
   

• By providing Bible Study opportunities that reflect issues of everyday life.
   

• By providing and or attending seminars targeted to the needs and growth of women.
   

• By providing fellowship opportunities which serve to encourage the building of positive friendships.
   

• By providing a spiritual network of support which serves to build one another up

 

 

Ministry

• By engaging women in fruitful and fulfilling service to our Lord, believing that every woman is gifted by God and should have the opportunity to develop that gift.
   

• By providing opportunities to be involved in the planning and executing of a special events and activities
  (e.g. Annual Women’s Day, Fall Retreat, Spring Fling, etc.).
   

• By providing opportunities to minister to one another in the church body through practical helps and meeting the practical needs of those in our church family.
   

• By encouraging women to seek their gifts and put them into use in our church body.

Missions

• By supporting the missionaries of New Life Christian Fellowship of Lancaster.
   

• By serving our community by identifying a local non-profit organization to support.
   

• By supporting and serving our local church congregation and meeting place.
